ENERGY DRINK BOTTLE LABEL

You have inherited an energy drink company from an old relative. However, to boost sales, the company is in desperate need of a new logo and a new bottle label.

Here’s what you need to do:

You are to create a new logo for your company and a new label for your bottle.
  • Create your logo in Photoshop (you are also permitted to use Illustrator).
  • Try using different Text and Shape combinations, and various drop shadows, glows, and styles to make your logo.
  • Ensure that your logo is pleasing to the eye, interesting, easy to recognize, and appropriate for the product of your company.
  • The company name should be fictitious.
  • If using photographs on label or logo; photographs/images must NOT be stretched.
  • If you use 'clip-art' you must alter  it from it's original state within Photoshop; you must create it.
  • The logo must be a focal point on the label and stand out.
  • Be creative, but remember don't complicate things - simple is better.
  • ​You can use Photoshop or Illustrator to create your logo.
  • Use Photoshop or Indesign to create your label or can.

Once you have your logo created you are ready to create your label. Must have the following items on the label;
  • Scanner code
  • List of ingredients
  • Nutritional guide
  • Amount of mL
  • Your name (company name)
  • And the logo you created before starting your label

Specs:
  • Logo and Labels must be designed using 300 dpi.
  • Logo image size will be depending on how large your image is in the end.
  • Dimensions:
    • 270ml Label: 3 inches in height x 9.25 inches in width (7.62 cm x 23.5 cm)
    • 710ml Can:  7.625 inches x 9.25 inches in width (19.3675 cm x 23.5 cm)

Deliverables:
  • You will submit two files. Your Logo and Labels must be handed in a .psd format or what ever format you created it) with all layers in tact.
  • Name your logo file as Lastname_Firstname_EDLogo.psd; un-flattened so I can see how you built it.
  • Name you label file as Lastname_Firstname_EDLabel.psd; un-flattened so I can see how you built it.
