TIME LAPSE PHOTOGRAPHY
Time lapse, long-exposure, time-exposure, or slow-shutter photography involves using a long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring the moving elements (such as a flashlight). You can also obtain similar results with stars or car headlights. For your image to be acceptable for this assignment you must have something in the background or foreground that appears in focus. The moving element(s) will obvious be unsharp or blurred due to the longer exposure.
